Some information used in Health Mode may be considered sensitive or health-related personal data under applicable law.

We may use personal data to create and manage accounts; provide the app and website; identify ingredients; generate recipes and meal suggestions; personalize Health Mode; generate meal plans; provide nutrition and activity-related recommendations; operate Ayra and AI functionality; remember preferences; provide customer support; maintain security; prevent fraud; analyze performance; improve the Services; troubleshoot technical issues; communicate with you; and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis

Depending on the processing activity and applicable law, we may process personal data based on consent, performance of our agreement with you, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests where permitted, or another lawful basis. Where explicit consent is required for sensitive personal data, we will request it.

5. Health and Sensitive Data

We apply additional safeguards to health-related and other sensitive personal data. We collect such information only where needed for the relevant feature and as permitted by law. Byondbites does not sell your health data.

6. Saudi Arabia PDPL Notice

If you are located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations, in addition to the practices described elsewhere in this Policy. Health-related information you provide through Health Mode is treated as sensitive personal data, and we collect and process it only with your consent and only as needed to provide the relevant feature. You may exercise your PDPL rights, including access, correction and deletion, by contacting support@byondbites.com.

7. Photos and Ingredient Scans

When you choose to use scanning features, Byondbites may access your camera or selected photos with your permission to identify ingredients and generate recommendations. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information or identifiable people in ingredient photographs.

8. Artificial Intelligence

Information you submit may be processed by AI systems to generate recipes, meal plans, responses and recommendations. Where external technology providers process personal data on our behalf, we use appropriate data-protection and security measures as required by applicable law.

9. Sharing of Personal Data

We may share personal data where reasonably necessary with service providers supporting cloud hosting, AI functionality, analytics, crash reporting, authentication, communications, customer support and payments if paid services are introduced. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, authorities or courts where legally required, or in connection with a lawful corporate transaction. We do not sell personal data as a standalone commercial product.

10. International Transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside the country where you are located. Where you are located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we take steps to store and process personal data, including health-related data collected through Health Mode, on infrastructure located within the Kingdom where required, and we apply contractual and organizational safeguards recognized under the Personal Data Protection Law for any transfer outside the Kingdom. Where cross-border transfers occur for users in other jurisdictions, we use safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with legal, security and dispute-resolution requirements. When information is no longer required, we delete, destroy or anonymize it as required by applicable law.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights to be informed about processing, access your personal data, obtain a copy, request correction, request deletion or destruction where applicable, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and submit a complaint to the relevant data-protection authority. 14. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Byondbites account and associated personal data using the in-app deletion option where available or by emailing support@byondbites.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". 15. Device Permissions

Camera, photo-library, notification and other device permissions are used only when relevant to a feature you choose to use. You can manage permissions through your device settings.

16. Children and Minors

Users under the age of legal majority should use Byondbites only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly seek to collect sensitive personal data from children without legally required authorization.

17. Marketing

Where legally permitted, we may send information about Byondbites. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications using the method provided in the communication. We do not use sensitive health data for third-party marketing where prohibited by law.

We may verify your identity before processing the request. Once verified, we will delete or de-identify personal data that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations and permitted exceptions.

Effect of Deletion
