Byondbites Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Byondbites mobile application, website, Health Mode, Ayra AI assistant, recipes, meal-planning tools, nutrition and wellness content, ingredient-scanning features and related services (the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. About Byondbites
Byondbites is operated by Byondbites Company (LLC), Commercial Registration No. 7055360726, Saudi Arabia ("Byondbites", "we", "us" or "our").
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Byondbites only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
4. Byondbites Services
Byondbites helps users make everyday food and wellness decisions. Features may include fridge, pantry and ingredient scanning, AI-assisted ingredient recognition, recipe and meal suggestions, personalized meal planning, Health Mode, nutrition information, exercise or activity suggestions, and AI assistance through Ayra.
5. Ingredient Scanning
Ingredient recognition is automated and may be inaccurate. Byondbites does not guarantee that every ingredient, quantity, allergen, expiry issue, spoilage condition or food-safety risk will be detected. You must verify ingredients yourself before preparing or consuming food.
6. Recipes and Food Safety
Recipes and cooking suggestions are provided for information and convenience. You are responsible for checking ingredients, expiry dates, allergens, storage conditions, safe cooking temperatures and dietary suitability.
7. Health Mode
Health Mode may provide personalized meal plans, nutrition information, wellness suggestions and activity guidance based on information you provide. These features are for general wellness and educational purposes only and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
8. Ayra and AI-Generated Content
Ayra and other Byondbites features may use artificial intelligence. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances. You should use reasonable judgment and independently verify important information.
9. Nutrition Information
Calories, macronutrients, serving sizes and other nutrition values may be estimates. Actual values can vary depending on ingredients, brands, quantities, serving sizes and preparation methods.
10. Allergies and Medical Dietary Requirements
Do not rely on Byondbites to identify allergens or determine whether food is medically suitable for you. If you have a serious allergy, medical condition, prescribed diet or other medically significant dietary requirement, verify all ingredients and seek appropriate professional advice where needed.
11. Exercise Suggestions
Exercise or activity suggestions are general information only. Consider your own health, ability and environment before exercising.
12. User Content
You retain ownership of photos and content you submit. You grant Byondbites the limited rights necessary to process that content to provide, secure, maintain and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, interfere with security or availability, scrape substantial portions of the Services without permission, impersonate another person, infringe another person's rights, or misuse AI functionality for unlawful or harmful purposes.
14. Intellectual Property
The Byondbites name, logos, software, designs, interfaces, databases, proprietary technology and original content are owned by or licensed to Byondbites. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.
15. Third-Party Services
Byondbites may integrate with or link to third-party services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Byondbites is not responsible for independent third-party services except where required by law.
16. Free and Paid Services
Byondbites may offer free Services and optional paid features or subscriptions. Where a purchase is made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that platform acts as the merchant of record, and your payment is subject to that platform's own payment terms and refund policies in addition to these Terms. Where we introduce payment processing outside of these platforms, we will use payment providers licensed or authorized to process payments for users in their respective countries, and applicable pricing, billing, renewal and refund terms will be displayed before purchase.
17. Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Services.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, unlawful use or material breach of these Terms. You may stop using Byondbites at any time and may request account deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
19. Disclaimer
Byondbites provides food, recipe, AI, nutrition and wellness information for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee that every scan, recipe, AI response, meal plan, nutrition estimate or recommendation will be accurate or suitable for every user.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Byondbites will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Services will not exceed the greater of AED 500 or the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Where you are located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, mandatory Saudi consumer protection and data protection laws, including the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations, apply to our processing of your personal data regardless of this governing law clause. Nothing in this section limits any right or protection you are entitled to under the law of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by agreement.
22. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating a formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@byondbites.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly. If a dispute cannot be resolved this way, it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have to bring proceedings in your country of residence where applicable law requires it.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, our business practices or legal requirements. The effective date will be updated when changes are made.
